The celebrity trainer Valerie Waters says that if you get in a little extra activity when you do a detox diet you can help to rid yourself of two to three more pounds of water weight. Exercise raises your body temperature which in turn releases toxins through your pores.

You can try jumping on a trampoline for ten to twenty minutes a day to help stimulate the toxins through the lymph vessels which will in turn help to release the trapped fat which creates cellulite deposits. You can also get this effect by jumping rope.

Valerie suggests doing L-crunches to help get your stomach flat in no time. This is a fresh approach to the usual crunches that people do. The L-crunch uses gravity to help stimulate your blood flow as it tones many of your flabby areas including your legs as well as your abdomen.

In order to do this new improved crunch you will need to lie on your back while you keep your hands at your sides with your legs straight. Next you will need to lift your legs up until you have them at a 90 degree angle with the floor and then lower your legs to just an inch from the floor. Repeat for a total of ten times.

You can help to smooth cellulite by doing reverse lunges. Waters says" This move builds muscle that evens out bulges on hips and thighs." For this exercise you will need to stand with your feet shoulder width apart while your hands are on your hips.

Next you will need to step back with your right leg and then bend both knees until you lower your body enough to have your right knee just about touching the floor. Next, use your right leg to push yourself up back into the starting position.

This move works best if you do it ten times with each leg. By following the moves above and maintaining healthy eating habits you will find that you will be shedding pounds in all the right places.

You can maximize these moves by using them with a detox process, but be sure not to do the detox plan for more than a few days. As with any diet or exercise program, be sure to check with a doctor before starting something new.
